2017 Season is Starting

It's March, we've got the heat and water turned back on in the Opry Barn!

March 18th we have the first Bluegrass Night of the year with Ma Crow & The Lady Slippers. Doors at 5:30, house band at 6, Ma and the Ladies at 7. Jo Ball will be cooking that evening so you know that the food will be great. $8 at the door.

Mandolin Gathering is on Saturday, March 25th.

Spend the day learning some new skills on the mandolin. Visit with luthiers and take part in the jams. This year we have two jams scheduled, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. You do need to pay to attend the workshops offered, but there is no charge to come and visit the instrument builders, and take part in the jams. And we really hope some instruments besides mandolins show up.

There will be food available all day.

In the evening we'll have a show headlining Hickory Robot and the Hammer & the Hatchet, with sets from the instructors as well. Only $8 to hear some of the best musicians in the region. If you sign up for one of the workshops during the day, you already have free admission to the show, so plan to make a day of it.

Friday March 31st will be the first Acoustic Final Friday of the year. Sign up begins at 6:30 and the music will begin at 7 pm. Food available from the Metamora Lions Club.
